It’s time to welcome the CRL Accelerator Cohort 12.
This accelerator is an 18-week intensive product development support programme for hardware startups looking to test and validate innovative technology combined with business support to address the challenging areas of growing companies.
During the programme, the cohort will work closely with our product development team, receive in-depth diagnostic sessions, establish key aims for the programme, and connect with a world-class mentor who will offer support, share valuable expertise, open access to their network, and help build accountability.
By learning about product development, leadership skills, hiring strategies, and manufacturing and building industry connections for future growth, each participant will be ready to take their business to the next level upon graduating from the innovation programme.
COHORT 12
Let us introduce you to the innovative and groundbreaking businesses taking part in this edition of the CRL Accelerator.
Carbon Cell
Carbon Cell offers a carbon-negative, compostable, and non-toxic expanded foam alternative to polystyrene. The product provides competitive compressive strength, durability, and superior thermal insulation. For widespread market adoption, Carbon Cell's foam material needs to integrate seamlessly into existing production lines. To achieve this, Carbon Cell has developed a bespoke hardware solution that efficiently pelletises its material for expanded foam applications.
FLOWBIO
FLOWBIO has developed an AI-powered, reusable sweat sensor that tracks fluid and sodium loss. The technology allows athletes to create personalised hydration strategies and optimises performance, recovery, and safety during training and events.
SmartyPlants
SmartyPlants simplifies plant care with an intelligent sensor that gathers data on plant health. This data is analysed through their platform, providing users with actionable insights and recommendations via a user-friendly app, ensuring plants thrive with minimal effort.
PulpaTronics
PulpaTronics creates more sustainable RFID (Radio-frequency Identification) tags that eliminate the need for metal mining, simplify manufacturing, and reduce environmental impact. Their paper-only tags are recyclable, cut costs by 50%, and make RFID technology more accessible, helping retailers achieve sustainability goals and enabling responsible disposal of RFID tags.
Unravel Health
Unravel Health has developed a non-invasive, at-home mini-lab to measure hormone levels continuously throughout the menstrual cycle. Their device analyses up to 16 biomarkers, offering women comprehensive insights into their hormonal health that traditional blood tests fail to provide.
Guerrilla.Co
Guerrilla offers a retrofittable solution for capturing pollutants from urban road runoff. Their device leverages the natural flow of water and internal geometry to passively trap contaminants, even during heavy rainfall, while integrating seamlessly into existing maintenance systems.
